Jennifer Berglund

Producer - An award-winning writer, producer and photographer. She has produced educational, promotional and documentary films for many clients, including the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Facts on File, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has written for national publications like Nature Outlook and Discover Magazine, and is a recipient of the Associated Press Documentary Award for her work on NPR. She holds a B.A. in Biology and a M.S. in Science and Medical Journalism from Boston University.


Keith Heyward

Director of Photography - An award-winning videographer and editor. He has created hundreds of educational videos for a variety of organizations including the BBC, Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, and many more. In addition, he has shot for the directors of award-winning documentaries like The Cove (Oscar, 2009) and Buddy (Emmy, 2005). He holds a B.Sc. in Biology from Brown University and has extensive experience as a scientific researcher around the world.


Gino Del Guercio

Director - A documentary filmmaker trained at WGBH-TV with 20 years experience producing and directing national award-winning science documentaries for PBS, the Discovery Channel and A&E. He has won an Emmy and Best Science Documentary of the Year from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.


Julia Liu

Editor/2nd Camera - An experienced editor and cinematographer, Julia has worked on a variety of productions, from documentaries and commercials to episodic tv series and feature films. She is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild and currently works as a Camera Assistant on the hit USA show, White Collar.


Yumi Araki

Associate Producer at Boston Science Communications - Yumi has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University. Born in Malaysia and raised in Japan, she has interned and contributed to several paper and online publications in Tokyo, London and Boston.
